The Ouigo is SNCF’s low-cost high-speed train service in France, launched in 2013 to provide affordable, high-speed travel on key routes such as Paris–Lyon, Paris–Marseille, and beyond. Operating a dedicated fleet of around 36–40 modified TGV Duplex trainsets, Ouigo offers reduced fares, simplified onboard services, and bright, colorful interiors optimized for efficiency and economy.
Trains reach speeds of up to 300 km/h, combining French high-speed engineering with cost-effective operation.
Ouigo has expanded across France and even into Spain, making high-speed rail accessible to a wider audience while maintaining the TGV legacy of reliability and speed.
